Maddie Gardner
Maddie Gardner joined Qirx in 2021 as our first full-time Project Manager. She excels at meeting customer expectations by delivering projects to spec and on time.
Before joining Qirx, Maddie honed her communication skills and attention to detail at Parliament House as a Hansard editor for the federal parliament and coordinating external contracts. She regularly edited speeches for the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition – we can count on her to cross the t’s and dot the i’s.
In 2020, Maddie received the Tony Graham Leadership and Values Award from the ACT State Emergency Service (SES). She is proud to be one of the youngest recipients to date. Maddie has been an SES volunteer since 2015 and is currently the Commander of the Belconnen Unit coordinating a crew of 80 volunteers. She led the unit through the terrible Black Summer bushfires, the severe hailstorm, and the COVID pandemic. Maddie is also a passionate volunteer for ACT Wildlife and rehabilitates injured native animals.
Maddie holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) from the Australian National University.
